Ranbir Kapoor’s Ramayan is being hailed as one of the most ambitious and grand period epics ever attempted in Indian cinema. While earlier leaks from the project stirred mixed reactions, generating excitement for some but leaving many underwhelmed, this time, a major behind-the-scenes look test has surfaced online and taken the internet by storm.
The viral images have reignited buzz around the film, giving fans a glimpse into the scale and detailing of the movie, which might not be great this time.
A Reddit user posted some pictures of a cast member in a costume and the caption read, “Raavan’s army costume first look from Nitesh Tiwari’s Ramayan.”
A majority of users are disappointed to see the pictures and are saying that it might become another version of Adipurush.
One user commented, “They don't do proper research or what??? I always hated this amalgamation of Hollywood style fantasy movie’s cheap costume copies. Why can't they make proper decisions regarding this problems. I vividly remember from an Indian soap opera where a guy was a blatant copy of khal drogo.”
Another user commented, “Even ranbir leaked look was too basic costume, then people justified ki abhi toh ispe vfx hoga. I'm like wtf har chiz pe vfx thodi karenge.”
