Metro…In Dino Trailer: Aditya, Sara & A Big Ensemble Of Stars & Their Musical Love Escapades

Back in 2007, filmmaker Anurag Basu directed Life in a… Metro starring a big ensemble of stars including Dharmendra, Irrfan Khan, Kay Kay Menon, Shilpa Shetty, Sharman Joshi, Kangana Ranaut, Konkona Sen Sharma, Shiney Ahuja and Nafisa Ali.

The film featured a chartbuster soundtrack by Pritam who also appeared in the film throughout as part of Metro Band.

Now, 18 years later, Anurag Basu has returned with its sequel titled Metro…In Dino with a new star cast and story but a similar theme of love, life and heartbreaks in metro cities.

Metro…In Dino stars Aditya Roy Kapur, Sara Ali Khan, Ali Fazal, Fatima Sana Shaikh, Pankaj Tripathi, Konkona Sen Sharma, Neena Gupta and Anupam Kher.

A few days back, the makers dropped its first song “Zamaana Lage” and now the film’s trailer has been dropped online.

The 3-minute and 17-second trailer gives us a glimpse into the lives of these eight individuals and how they navigate through their love stories.

Sharing the trailer, Sara Ali Khan wrote, “A story for every age. Love at every stage. This isn’t just our love story- it’s yours too Metro…इन दिनों — Trailer Out Now.”

Reacting to the trailer, one social media user wrote, “Can it suppress the magic of the first installment, Life in a... Metro? Practically, no. It was a pioneering film in its genre that developed a cult following, thanks in part to its superhit soundtrack.”

Another user reacted, “Anurag x Pritam this two have won our hearts always issbar b kafi achi film lag rahi hai plus music ka kya kehne trailer n the cast goosebumps just”.

Metro…In Dino releases in theatres on July 4, 2025, a week after Kajol’s Maa and a week before Rajkummar Rao’s Maalik and Vikrant Massey and Shanaya Kapoor’s Aankhon Ki Gustaakhiyan.
