‘They Look Cute’ Users Bowled Over Abhay Verma & Rasha Thadani’s Laikey Laikaa Announcement

Rasha Thadani had a decent debut with Azaad. Though the movie was a box office disaster, her performance was praised by many.

And now, she is gearing up for her second movie with an actor who had both a critical and commercially successful debut.

Raveena Tandon’s daughter Rasha Thadani dropped an announcement video with Munjya star Abhay Verma for their upcoming movie Laikey Laikaa, which is slated to hit theatres next summer.

Interestingly, ‘Laikey Laikaa’ is a common Bihari term used for a girl and a boy.

Posting the video on Instagram, Rasha wrote, “She’s the chaos. He’s the calm. Or is it the other way around? Get ready for #LaikeyLaikaa in theatres, Summer 2026!”

The reactions

While some users predicted the “arrogant girl and sweet boy” love story, a majority of them thought that the young couple actually looks cute.

One user commented, “Rohit Saraf ran so that Abhay could walk! Bollywood ko aese hi chocolate heroes ki zarurat hai, they are the ones who suit in romantic movies, not the middle aged uncles.”

Another user commented, “Rooting for Abhay, he is sweet and he carried munjiya. Thats a different story that Sharvari's pr is strong and kinda took all the credit. So I'm sceptical that this time Rasha will do the same with him. He needs a strong pr as well.”

One user reacted, “Out of all nepodis I really like Rasha. I think it was a sunscreen advertisement or smthng where I saw her. At least she isn’t expressionless because of all the botox and fillers.”

Another user reacted, “Rasha please eat all the nepodis. Please!!! Obliterate them from Bollywood. And even when you are done with them, don’t stop. If they try to force their kids in Bollywood, eat them as well. Full sapot.”

Apart from Laikey Laikaa, Abhay Verma is currently shooting for Siddharth Annad’s King opposite Shah Rukh Khan and Suhana Khan, which is scheduled to release next year.
