TVF is steadily carving its niche as a powerhouse of rooted, authentic storytelling, capturing the essence of everyday Indian life with warmth and wit.
After delivering the mega-successful series Panchayat, they are back with another light-hearted drama set against the rural backdrop of an Indian village.
Titled Gram Chikitsalay, this series follows the journey of a young, idealistic doctor who is posted in a remote village. As he navigates the everyday health issues of rural India, he also finds himself entangled in local politics, faces off with ruthless gangsters, and locks horns with his cunning arch-nemesis — portrayed by Vinay Pathak.
The description of the show reads, “The young, idealistic and brilliant Dr. Prabhat, takes charge of a neglected Primary Health Centre in a North India Village hoping to bring about much needed changes only to realise it is he who will have do change before anything else.”
