The world watched in awe as two remarkable women, Colonel Sofiya Qureshi and Wing Commander Vyomika Singh, were selected to represent India in addressing the escalating tensions with Pakistan.

Their appointment marked a powerful moment, not only in terms of diplomacy and defence strategy, but also as a significant step forward for gender representation in high-stakes military and geopolitical affairs.

This was not only symbolic regarding the name ‘Operation Sindoor,’ but also gave a strong message to the world that Indian women are also leading the warfronts.

Col. Sofiya Qureshi and Wing Commander Vyomika Singh have become national heroes and continue to update us about the ongoing situation at the border. Amid the ongoing tension and chaos between India and Pakistan, an old video of Co. Sofiya Qureshi is gaining online momentum.

In this video, Sofiya Qureshi was talking about one of her operations where she rescued a young girl and sent her to her home in Congo.

The Col. said, “This reminded me of that Salman Khan movie.”

Col. Sofiya was referring to one of Salman Khan’s best movies, Bajrangi Bhaijaan.
