‘Are They Killing Thor?’ Fans Ask As Chris Hemsworth Pays Tribute To Thunder God In A Video

Chris Hemsworth has become synonymous with Thor on a global scale, and according to the filmmakers, no one could have embodied the character more perfectly than him.
On May 29, Chris Hemsworth published a video on his YouTube channel, paying tribute to Thor and the journey he has been through over the years.
He wrote, “Playing Thor has been one of the greatest honors of my life. For the last 15 years I’ve held Mjolnir and then Stormbreaker as the God of Thunder, but what made it truly special… was sharing it with all of you. Your passion, your cheers, and your love for this character have meant everything to me. Thank you for making my journey through the MCU unforgettable.. Next up, Doomsday!”
The video was shared solely by Chris Hemsworth, with no involvement or repost from Marvel’s official social media handles. This raised eyebrows among hardcore Marvel fans, who dug deeper and found no notable Thor-related anniversary or occasion that could explain the timing of the tribute.
Chris Hemsworth published this video out of the blue and that is why fans are afraid that his character might get killed in Avengers: Doomsday.
Some fans also speculated that Chris might be retiring from Thor’s character.
One user commented, “So hes dieing in doomsday probably saving his bother similar to how his brother died protecting him kinda of.”

One user said, “My guess is Thor and Loki will reunite and Thor will die by Doom. Marvel probably filmed that scene recently, I noticed whenever a major character d*es in a film or TV series they film it early in production.”
